Broadway Primary School

We are a local primary school in Rossendale with 210 children, deeply committed to fostering a strong sense of community and charity through our #BroadwayFamily and #BroadwayBroaderFamily initiatives. Rossendale Radio has played a crucial role in helping us meet these goals, and we believe its continued support is invaluable to both our school and the wider community.

Over the past year, Rossendale Radio has been a key partner in our annual charity event, the Broadway Colour Run. Through their advertising, the radio station ensured that the event reached a wider audience, resulting in additional funding for four local charities. In addition, they recorded our Christmas Singing event at Tesco Haslingden, which was then aired over the festive period, bringing holiday cheer to the residents of Rossendale. This collaboration not only supported our #BroadwayFamily but also created lasting memories for our children and their families.

On two occasions, representatives from Broadway have been interviewed live on Rossendale Radio to discuss the positive work we are doing. These interviews have helped strengthen the connection between our school and the broader community, highlighting the importance of community-driven initiatives.

We are excited to continue building our relationship with Rossendale Radio and are confident that their ongoing efforts will remain an integral part of our community. As a small but impactful school, we recognise the significant role Rossendale Radio plays in connecting and uplifting the people of Rossendale, and we strongly believe it is essential that this vital resource continues to thrive as the heart of our local area.
