Rossendale Players are an amateur theatre society and registered charity.
Formed in 1936, and since 2000 based at and owning The New Millennium Theatre in Waterfoot, Rossendale which can accommodate 86 audience members. The Rossendale Players are run entirely by volunteers and produce 5 week long plays a year, as well as providing performance space to other local amateur groups.
Members of production cast/ crew & directors are regularly invited by Rossendale Radio for interviews live on air and to promote their play and the work of the Rossendale Players. This is an invaluable support resulting in increased ticket sales and recruitment of volunteers.
We fully endorse Rossendale Radio as a unique community resource providing local information and contacts to people across the Rossendale Valley and further a field via the internet, particularly those who may be isolated at home. 104.7 Rossendale Radio is definitely ‘The Voice of The Valley’
