Unforgettable Favourites

Gerald started working in radio aged just 17, at the then new BBC Radio Leeds. From there it was onto BBC Radio Blackburn as one of the original team launching the station (Now BBC Radio Lancashire). He’s presented virtually all their shows, and became the BBC’s Station Sound manager, looking after the networks jingles. Along the way he’s taught media for the BBC and at Blackburn college, and reported for Radio 4, 5 and the World Service. He’s hosted his “Unforgettable” nostalgia show for over 20 years.
