Changing Tides
This December 2025, two Royal Marine veterans, Sean Phelps and Jonathan Towers, will row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, unaided, to raise awareness, inspire others, and support two life-changing charities: Care after Combat and The Samaritans.
Jonathan is a local guy, who lives in Helmshore, Rossendale. Blackburn born and bred. His team mate Sean lives in Portland, Dorset, so they have a big distance between them to coordinate their training!
The row is an epic test of endurance. Two men, one boat: Facing the mental and physical challenges and innate dangers of ocean rowing.
To make this huge venture possible they need sponsorship from businesses, in return for exposure, awareness, positive PR, and potential networking/engagement opportunities at events.
They are also looking for personal sponsorship and if you would like to help, please visit their Go Fund Me page
