We'll Meet Again
The team at 104.7 Rossendale Radio are delighted to be teaming up with Nursing Homes across the Valley to bring families together. For too long over the past 12 months our contact with those in care homes, hospices or just shielding at home has been through glass, from the bottom of the garden or via a tiny screen.
As part of our new Spring Schedule beginning 1st Feb, we will be dedicating an hour of The Valley Today with the lovely Dorrie Partington, to residents in nursing homes who are unable to see their families.
She will be playing songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s to evoke happy memories.
We will also be encouraging shout outs and dedications from family members so their relatives can have that connection.
Imagine the joy of hearing a grandchild’s voice again?
Well, we can help make that possible.
If you would like to leave a WhatsApp voice dedication to a loved one,

We're hoping the sound of your voice and their favourite music in their room will bring some much needed colour into the lives of those shielding and relieve some of that loneliness.
Let’s bring families together ‘til we can meet again here on The Voice of the Valley.
